ZATO at ZTIS 2025

On 20th and 21st June 2025, ZATO proudly took part in the Zanzibar Tourism & Investment Show (ZTIS 2025) held at the Dimani Exhibition Centre in Zanzibar.

Set under the theme of promoting investment and sustainable tourism, the two-day event brought together key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors. The exhibition provided a platform for businesses and institutions to showcase their contributions to the tourism and investment landscape in Zanzibar.

ZATO were engaged with local and international visitors, development partners, students, and fellow tourism stakeholders. We shared our mission, ongoing advocacy work, and our vision of fostering responsible tourism that benefits communities and the wider economy.

The event was officially graced by the Guest of Honour, Hon. Mudrick Soraga, Minister of Tourism & Heritage of Zanzibar, who officially opened the show and underscored the vital role of collaboration in the sector
